SURFACE PREPARATION:
Joints should be thoroughly cleaned, and surface should free from oil, grease, fuel, paraffin, silicone and other residues. Generally priming is not required. Primer is necessary for dusty, porous and unsound substructures. In this case PUAST 185 is used, or PUAST 2K 190 is used for damp concretes.
APPLICATION:
Place the backer rod into the joints carefully at an appropriate depth. Place the sealant into the gun and cut the nozzle from the farthest end to deliver the right bead size. Sealant must be applied into the joint. Wide joints may require more than one application with the gun in order to ensure that the sealant is in full contact with the sides and bottom of the joint. Can be kept for minimum 12 months in the original sealed pails in dry places and at temperatures of +5 ˚C and +25 ˚C. Once opened, use as soon as possible.
