- The product is used in buildings, on floors, which are exposed to low and medium level of pedestrian traffic in order to obtain a smooth surface before final surfacing such as ceramic, hardwood and laminated floors.
- It is applied on exposed concrete, concrete, cement based concrete surfaces.
Surface Preparation:
Application surface must be clean, robust, dry and free of dust and oils. If there are residues on the surface (concrete, adhesive, paint etc.), those residues must be cleaned by scraping.
Application:
20 kg MANTOLION FL301 perlitic screed is added to 10-15 lt clean water in a clean container, and mixed by means of a low speed mixer or driller for 3-4 minutes in order to achieve homogeneity and pvent agglomeration. This mixture is stilled for mellowing for a period of 5-10 minutes. It is made ready for use after a 1-2 minutes mixing process. It is recommended that the mixture in the container is consumed within 2 hours maximum. Depending on climatic conditions, 1 day after the application, the surface is watered once in the morning and once in the evening for at least 3 days.
No foreign substances must be added to the mortar, each bag must be used as a whole and specified water ratios must be complied with. After the application, all tools used must be washed with water before drying. Specified time periods are valid for 20oC surface and ambient temperature. The time period is shorter in high temperatures, and longer in low temperatures. Specified technical application conditions must be complied with. Otherwise, final product performance of the product may be affected by application methods and ambient conditions.
